Afternoon Rehearsal by Agreement
Choose this work type when afternoon and evening rehearsals are mutually agreed upon between the employer and employee.
Annual Leave Taken

Company Dancer or Performer per Performance
Choose this work type when an employee is casually employed on a per performance rate.
Company Dancer or Performer per Public Holiday Performance
Choose this work type when an employee is casually employed on a per performance rate and the day on which a performance is being held is on a gazetted public holiday.
Company Dancer or Performer per Sunday Performance
Choose this work type when an employee is casually employed on a per performance rate and the day on which a performance is being held is Sunday.
Compassionate Leave Taken
Choose this work type when compassionate leave was taken
Concurrent Productions (>8)
Choose this work type when an employee is engaged by the weekly engagement to appear in two or more different contemporaneous productions for the same employer, and one of the productions is a pantomime, and the number of performances exceeds eight in a week.
Extra 9th Pantomime
Choose this work type when an employee is required to perform in an additional ninth pantomime in any such week.
Extra 10-12th Pantomime
Choose this work type when an employee is required to perform in additional pantomimes in excess of the ninth performance, up to twelve performances in any such week.
Extra Performance - Substantially Whole Time Productions (>8)
Choose this work type when an employee is required to perform in more than eight substantially whole time productions (except pantomimes) in a week.
Extra Performance - Up to 1hr (>12)
Choose this work type when an employee is required to perform in additional performances up to one hour in duration above 12 in any such week.
Extra Performance (School Tour)
Choose this work type when an employee is required to perform in additional performances up to one hour and 30 minutes in duration above 10, and up to one hour in duration above 15, in any such week.
Leave Rehearsal Early (Casual)
Choose this work type if a casual employee decides to leave the rehearsal earlier than the completion of one hour.

Meal Allowance Less Than 2 Hours B/W Performances - Company Dancer
Choose this work type when an employee is a Company Dancer and has less than two hours between performances and requires a meal allowance.

Paid Community Service Leave Taken

Special Attendance Allowance (Employee)
Choose this work type if an employee is required for a special attendance for the purpose of wardrobe, fitting, publicity, public relations, still photography or any other matter connected with the employer’s business and the employer directs an employee to attend for that purpose (excepting before, during or after a rehearsal or performance call).
Special Attendance Allowance (Prospective)
Choose this work type if a prospective employee is required for a special attendance for the purpose of wardrobe, fitting, publicity, public relations, still photography or any other matter connected with the employer’s business (except radio or television appearances and/or interviews), to attend at the employer’s place of business, a still photographic studio or in another location agreed between the employer and the prospective employee.
Supervising Classes – Dancers
Choose this work type when an employee is required to supervise a dance class.
Travelling Time
Choose this work type when the employer during the course of a normal day’s work, requires the employee to travel; the travelling time inclusive of regular stops for comfort and refreshment will be counted as time worked.
Travelling Time (on Performance/Rehearsal Day)
Choose this work type when the employer during the course of a normal day’s work, requires the employee to travel on a day when rehearsals and performances are required; the travelling time inclusive of regular stops for comfort and refreshment will be counted as time worked.
Understudy - Leading Role
Choose this work type when an employee is required by the employer to act as an understudy in a role where the salary of the employee concerned exceeds double the Performer Category 1 Grade 1 rate but is less than the upper salary limit figure of a Star Role.
Understudy - Minor Supporting Role
Choose this work type when an employee is required by the employer to act as an understudy in a role of lesser requirements than those that apply for a supporting role.
Understudy - Star Role
Choose this work type when an employee is required by the employer to act as an understudy in a role where the salary of the employee concerned exceeds the upper salary limit figure prescribed in clause 3—Definitions and interpretation.
Understudy - Supporting Role
Choose this work type when an employee is required by the employer to act as an understudy in a role where the employee is required to speak more than 40 words or sing solo more than 40 bars of music in the aggregate, or dance solo more than 40 bars of music in the aggregate. A supporting role includes a situation where an employee performs such a role as part of a duo, trio or quartet.
Understudy Performance - Leading Role
Choose this work type when an employee is required to perform in a part in which they are acting as an understudy in a role where the salary of the employee concerned exceeds double the Performer Category One Grade One rate but is less than the upper salary limit figure of a Star Role.
Understudy Performance - Minor Supporting Role
Choose this work type when an employee is required to perform in a part in which they are acting as an understudy in a role of lesser requirements than those that apply for a supporting role.

Weekly Shoe Allowance (Per Pair)
Choose this work type when an employee is required to provide and wear shoes when in a rehearsal or performance.
Weekly Wardrobe Allowance (per item)
Choose this work type when an employee is required to provide and wear clothes when in a rehearsal of a performance.
Working through a break or interval (Performers & Company Dancers)
Choose this work type when an employee is required to work through their allocated meal break or interval.
Accommodation Allowance
Select this shift condition where the employee does not accept employer-provided
accommodation. The employee will be paid an allowance instead.
Afternoon rehearsals a Week Prior to New Production (Company Dancers)
Select this shift condition when a company dancer is required for afternoon
rehearsals the week prior to a new production commencement.
Assistant Stage Manager Allowance
Select this shift condition when an employee is engaged as an assistant
stage manager.
Casual performance 3+ Hours
Select this shift condition if a casual employee is required for a performance
where the duration is in excess of three hours.
Country Tour
Select this shift condition when the employee is engaged on a country
tour.
Deputy Rehearsal Director/Rehearsal Director
Select this shift condition when a member of the company of dancers who
acts on a regular basis as Deputy Rehearsal Director/Rehearsal Director
and who, under the direction of the Artistic Director, supervises classes
and performs other related additional duties.
Driver/Person in Charge Allowance
Select this shift condition when an employee is required to perform work
as a driver or a person in charge whilst on tour.
Emergency Cast Replacement Rehearsal (Company Dancer)
Select this shift condition when a company dancer is required to be cast
in an emergency and is required to rehearse and work in two performances.
Incidental Allowance While Travelling
Select this shift condition when an employee is required to travel and
be paid an allowance for incidentals.
Making an Advertisement Allowance
Select this shift condition when a segment of a production in which an
employee is performing is filmed or otherwise recorded for publicity
purposes and is made up to an advertisement for the production for the
purposes of being transmitted by television or radio as paid advertisement.
Meal allowance While Travelling - Not Local Shows
Select this shift condition when an employee is to be paid a meal allowance
whilst travelling and not at a local show.
New Production (Rehearsals a Week Prior)
Select this shift condition when an employee is engaged in rehearsals
a week prior to a new production commencement.
Nude Allowance
Select this shift condition when an employee agrees to appear nude or
semi-nude.

appropriate training or equivalent experience and who is engaged
to perform as a company member.
Dance Captain
Assign this tag when a member of the ensemble of performers who acts
as Dance Captain, or who, under the direction of the employer or the
employer’s representative, supervises the work of the ensemble of performers.
Deputy Rehearsal Director/Rehearsal Director
Assign this tag when a member of the company of dancers who acts on a
regular basis as Deputy Rehearsal Director/Rehearsal Director and who,
under the direction of the Artistic Director, supervises classes and
performs other related additional duties

Assign this tag where an employee is employed weekly or full-time and

Assign this tag when an employee is employed to appear only incidentally
or in the background, or participating only in crowd or background speech
or noise, who does not speak or dance or perform individually as directed.

Repetiteur
Select this shift condition when a musician is employed as a piano/keyboard
instrumental player who is required to accompany performers, backstage,
on stage, in a rehearsal room, or in the pit during rehearsals or auditions,
and to work as directed, including for any musical preparation to a production.
Upkeep of Instrument
Select the shift condition when an employee supplies one or more instruments
and must upkeep them.
Upkeep of Instrument – Harpist
Select this shift condition when an employee is a harpist and must upkeep
their harp.
Upkeep of Instrument - Percussionist Kit
Select this shift condition when an employee is a percussionist and provides
the complete percussion kit, or a substantial part of the percussion
kit.

Drummer or Electronic Instrumentalist
Assign this tag when an employee is a musician who is a drummer or
electronic instrumentalist and is required to move their equipment
to and from their place of employment.

Annual Leave Taken
Choose this work type when annual leave is taken.
Cancellation Without Notice (Striptease Artist)
Choose this work type if the employee arrives at a booking and the booking
has been cancelled without notice. The employee will receive a cancellation
rate of 30% of the rate the employee would have been paid. This amount
will need to be manually calculated into the pay-earnings line once the
booking rate is known.
Compassionate Leave Taken
Choose this work type when compassionate leave is taken.
Leave Without Pay Taken
Choose this work type when unpaid leave is taken.
Long Service Leave Taken
Choose this work type when long service leave is taken.
Paid Community Service Leave Taken
Choose this work type when paid community leave is taken.
Parade Allowance
Choose this work type if the employee is to participate in a parade representing

Choose this work type where an employer requests an employee to use their
own motor vehicle in the performance of their duties. The kilometres
travelled should be entered into the ‘units’ field ie 1 (one) unit is
equivalent to 1 (one) kilometre.
Working During Meal Break
Choose this work type if an employee is required to work more than five
continuous hours without a suitable meal interval (does not apply to
a worker on a continuous shift roster).

Working on an RDO (Production & Support Staff)
Select this shift condition when the weekly employee is working on their
rostered day off.
Working on at Least 3 Short Performances Per Day (With 2 or More Hour Break/s Between)
Choose this work type when a casual employee is required to work on the
same day on at least three short performances (as defined), and there
is a break between any two of the short performances of at least two
hours. These employees will be paid a minimum call for each performance.

Assign this tag if the employee is hired to perform cleaning duties.
Continuous Shift Roster
Assign this tag if the employee is hired on a continuous shift roster
working arrangement.
Crewing Services Employee
Assign this tag if the employee works in crewing services.

Assign this tag if the employee works in factory sound and/or lighting.
