Country code is invalid STP lodgement warning

Explanation

The warning relates to the Is Approved Working Holiday Maker field and means that you selected an incorrect country for this field.  If you have not set up this information correctly, the platform will display the above warning when you go to submit an STP lodgement.

Solution

You will first need to go the the Employee Tax Details feature and unselect the Is Approved Working Holiday Maker tick box. When you unselect this box you will get asked to select a date for this change; make sure you select the Employees Start Date option. Next, click the Save button.

Now that this has cleared the previous choice on the same Employee Tax Details feature you are already on, reselect the Is Approved Working Holiday Maker tick box. You will now see a Visa Country option appear. Make sure you select the correct country for the employee. Next, click the Save button. Lastly, you you need to return to the STP Lodgement page and click the Refresh Data button. Refer to the following article on how to refresh your data.
