Explanation

You must enter on the employees record a valid address, i.e. you must complete both the address and suburb fields. If you have not entered this data correctly, the platform will display the above warning when you go to submit an STP lodgement.

Solution

You can refer to the following article on how to update an employee's address on your organisation's payroll platform. Once you update the employees' information, the error will resolve and you can submit the employee's Single Touch Payroll (STO) lodgement.

Important

Ensure that Line one does not include the suburb and/or postcode and that you used Line two for any multi-line addresses. Ensure you have also ‌applied the fix to both the residential and postal address sections.
