How to integrate with Deputy enterprise edition

The timesheet integration feature allows you to connect your payroll platform to your Deputy Enterprise Edition platform. This connection will let you import your timesheets directly from Deputy, with the ability to select whether they need approval on the payroll platform first before applying them to an employee's pay run. 

Important

When importing timesheets from Deputy Enterprise, your employee and location data within your payroll platform must match the data from your Deputy Enterprise. We recommend using the Import Employees feature to make sure you have a matching employee and location data between the two platforms.

Getting started

Connect to Deputy Enterprise Edition
  1. Click the  Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
  3. Under Business Management, click Integrations.
  4. Click the Add button for Deputy.

  6. Log into your Deputy platform.

  7. Select your Deputy business to be integrated with EH Payroll.
  8. Click the Allow Access button.

    Helpful Hint

    Your Employment Hero Payroll platform is now connected to your Deputy Enterprise platform.

Managing data

Import Employees from Deputy Enterprise
  1. Click the  Employee menu.
  2. Click the Import Employees submenu.
  3. Click the Import Employees From dropdown.
  4. Click Deputy.

  5. Click the Deputy Pay Centre dropdown.
  6. Click the pay centre you need.

    Helpful Hint

    You will now see a status message showing the successful uploading of your employees from Deputy into your payroll platform.

Import Timesheets from Deputy Enterprise
  1. Click the  Timesheet menu.
  2. Click the Import Timesheets submenu.
  3. Click the Import Timesheets From dropdown.
  4. Click Deputy.
  5. Complete the following fields:
    • Deputy Pay Centre
    • Date range.
    • Approve timesheets.

    Helpful Hint

    The Approve Timesheets option allows you to choose whether the platform automatically approves the timesheets when imported or whether they need to go through your organisation's timesheet approval workflow.

  6. Click the Import button.

    Helpful Hint

    You will now see a status message showing the successful uploading of your timesheets from Deputy into your payroll platform.

Removing data

Disconnect from your Deputy Enterprise platform
  1. Click the  Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
  3. Under Business Management, click Integrations.
  4. Click the  icon for Deputy.
