Checking Failed Emails using the Mail Log

If an employee notifies you that they have not received an email (pay slips, shift notifications, etc) you are now able to check the Mail Log for emails that have bounced or dropped. Once these are confirmed, you are also able to unblock them from within the business settings. 

To access the Mail Log, go to Payroll Settings (from your dashboard) > Mail Log.

You are able to filter the results in a number of ways:

  • Email Address: Allows you search for a specific address;
  • Template: Select a specific system generated email type or you can leave the value as "All" to check all system generated email notifications

If there are any bounced/dropped emails they will appear below with the reason:

The "Email" field in the employee's file will also highlight if the email has bounced when notifications have been sent:

If an email is categorised as blocked, you can unblock it by ticking the checkbox to the left of the entry and then clicking on "Unblock Email Addresses".
