Managing an employee's Payroll History

You should use Payroll History to import payroll data from an employee's previous employment if they have joined your company part-way through the financial year. This should match the TP3 form and ensures accurate calculation of taxable income within your Employment Hero platform.

Change an employee's Payroll History

How to change an employee's Payroll History
  1. Log in to your payroll admin account.
  2. Click the name of the employee whose Payroll History you want to change.

  3. Click Payroll History from the left hand side menu.

  4. Scroll to the section of Payroll History you want to change.
    The options are: 
      • Earnings
      • Tax
      • Total EPF
      • Total Socso
      • Other contributions
      • Pay period
        Payroll history screen
  5. Change the Payroll History as required.

    Important

    Payroll history start date and Payroll history end date are pre-populated based on an employee's start date, and should not be changed. This ensures Payroll history data is included in the correct year’s tax calculation.
  6. Click Save.
