Overview
Over the last week, the Employment Hero payroll product team has been hard at work and has released new updates to our reporting features and also to the way you are able to input income tax numbers.
Update employee income tax number validation
We have now updated the CP8A EA Form from the 2017 format in line with the 2021 standards per LHDN requirements. In addition, we have made some UI enhancements within CP8A EA Form (Statement of remuneration) report menu to reflect rounding to match the excel report as well as have updated the onscreen column values accordingly. Enhancement to CP8A form
We have updated income tax number validation to allow it to be left blank as some employees do not possess an income tax number. The validation will still check for 13 characters within the income tax number field should a user key in a value within the field. This update affects API validation too.
