You can now view HMRC notices for your organisation in the pay run screen. The HMRC Notices feature shows you a list of these notices for concerned employees for a specific pay run. You can then revert, apply, or recheck each one.
For better visibility and control, you will be able to view a history of applied and reverted notices against each employee. You can see these notices both on the pay run screen and in the HMRC/AE Forms in the employee file.
Apply a HMRC notice: Individually
- Click the Pay Runs (hand icon) menu on the dark side bar.
- Click the Pay Runs submenu.
- Click the pay run you need.
- Click the HMRC Notices tab.
- Click the Apply button for the HMRC notice you want to apply.
- Click the Apply button on the confirmation popup.
Apply HMRC notices: In bulk
- Click the Pay Runs (hand icon) menu on the dark side bar.
- Click the Pay Runs submenu.
- Click the pay run you need.
- Click the HMRC Notices tab.
- Tick the checkboxes for the notices you want to apply.
- Click the Apply selected button to apply them.
- Click the Apply button on the confirmation popup.
Revert a HMRC notice: Individually
- Click the Pay Runs (hand icon) menu on the dark side bar.
- Click the Pay Runs submenu.
- Click the pay run you need.
- Click the HMRC Notices tab.
- Click the Revert button for the HMRC notice you want to revert.
- Click the Revert button on the confirmation popup.
Revert HMRC notices: In bulk
- Click the Pay Runs (hand icon) menu on the dark side bar.
- Click the Pay Runs submenu.
- Click the pay run you need.
- Click the HMRC Notices tab.
- Tick the checkboxes for the notices you want to revert.
- Click the Revert selected button to revert them.
- Click the Revert button on the confirmation popup.
View an employee's HMRC notices for a pay run
- Click the Pay Runs (hand icon) menu on the dark side bar.
- Click the Pay Runs submenu.
- Click the pay run you need.
- Click the HMRC Notices tab.
- Click the small blue icon beside the name of the employee whose applied and reverted notices you want to view.

Helpful Hint
You can now see the applied and reverted notices for this employee in this pay run.
View an employee's HMRC notices in the employee file
- Click the Employee (people icon) menu on the dark side bar.
- Click the List submenu.
- Click the name of the employee whose HMRC notices you want to see.
- Under Employee Management, click HMRC/AE Forms.
- Scroll to the HMRC Notices section, around the bottom part of your screen.
Recheck HMRC notices for a pay run
- Click the Pay Runs (hand icon) menu on the dark side bar.
- Click the Pay Runs submenu.
- Click the pay run you need.
- Click the HMRC Notices tab.
- Click the Recheck all notices button.
- Input the date from when the platform should recheck for notices.
Helpful Hint
For example, let us say you input 1st June. This means the platform will recheck for all HMRC notices from 1st June up to today.
You will then be able to see a list of all notices from that date, which you can revert, apply, or ignore.
