Welcome to this week's release notes. Employment Hero's product teams have been busy releasing updates and adding new features to our payroll platform.
Bulk assign dimensions values
22nd March 2023
As part of continuous enhancements to the dimensions feature, we now allow users to bulk allocate dimension values to specific employees (previously all employees were assigned to each dimension value). This enhancement was implemented to (a) make assigning dimension values to earnings in a pay run more manageable and, more importantly, (b) allow us to more confidently build dimensions into timesheets and make sure that employees were only choosing from a list of relevant dimensions values as opposed to selecting from a list of possible 100s of dimension values. When adding or editing an existing dimension value, users can now assign the value to:
- all employees, or
- a select list of employees, or
- employees whose primary location is 'x', and/or
- employees who have a specific tag(s) attached to their file, and/or
- employees assigned to a specific location(s), and/or
- employees with a specific employee group(s).
The existing dimension APIs have also been updated to include this enhanced configuration.
Add two new bulk salary options to the existing process
23rd March 2023
This update allows our bureau dashboard users uplift annual salaries by a percentage and also hourly rates from one rate to another. This enables a % rate to take place across one or more businesses for all employees. The user can filter the employees to narrow down the employees, can download an excel spreadsheet before they upload the change and can select a commencement date for the salary changes. This feature works for uplifts of salaries and can also be used to reduce salaries. Hourly rate uplifts can be used with the UK national minimum wage changes from 1 April 2023.
Add a new page for Action item messages and Bulk publish P60s
23rd March 2023
This update allows the user to switch views from the dashboard to an action items view. This feature shows a Bureau user, (in a new area), the most important messages, such as, 'incomplete employees', 'incomplete self-setup employees', 'unfinalised pay runs', 'unpublished P60s', 'pending expense requests' and 'pending leave requests' and which businesses have received those messages. Further to this you are now also able to bulk publish P60 forms.
